The Federation of Small Businesses graciously invited me to be a guest speaker at the beginning of November to talk to owners about the importance of their online presence. The event, held on the 2nd November in Glenrothes, saw me give a high impact LinkedIn training workshop to a group of enthusiastic Scottish business leaders to help them better understand LinkedIn and how to make it work for their business.
In this digital age, 75% of consumers will seek out your digital image in order to form an opinion on whether or not they will buy your product or use your services. Online presence has never been more important, and for new business, the networking opportunities that LinkedIn can offer are invaluable. This is why our LinkedIn training courses in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and across the country are proving so popular.
The LinkedIn workshop was a resounding success with many of the business owners I spoke to afterwards feeling empowered and much more confident in setting up their own LinkedIn profile and making full use of the social media platform to further their business connections.
Even I left the event invigored with a sense of excitement for the potential success of these budding businesses, now that they have received LinkedIn training to help grow their reach.
I would like to thank The Federation of Small Businesses for allowing me the opportunity to work with this group of motivated individuals and I very much look forward to working further with the FSB in 2018.
