LinkedIn trainers Miles Duncan and Dave Rattray have extended their thanks to the Edinburgh businesses who contributed to the success of their event at the Royal Society of Edinburgh earlier this week.
LinkedIn Success Blueprint had to book a bigger room after being overwhelmed by the level of interest in the LinkedIn training seminar, which was held on Tuesday 9th June 2015.
Miles, who gave the presentation, said that he was pleased with the response from the delegates and revealed that many had approached him afterwards to ask for additional advice on how to get the most out of using LinkedIn.
Miles said: “Dave and I would like to thank all of the delegates who came along and contributed to the success of the LinkedIn Success Blueprint event this week. Many delegates told me that they got a lot of value from the event and said that they now had a better idea of the opportunities for business development that LinkedIn has to offer.
One delegate said: “Miles knows LinkedIn and how to promote its practical use. A very entertaining… speaker on effective promotion of ones self and business using a tool that is powerful if used well.”
Another said of the seminar: “[The event] gave me food for thought and you highlighted plenty of useful tips I will be implementing immediately.”
One attendee added: “I had no idea LinkedIn was so powerful and look forward to investing time to improve my profile, build my funnel and get out there more effectively.”
During the event, Miles announced that LinkedIn Success Blueprint will be hosting a similar event in Glasgow during the first week of July, at the Grand Central Hotel 99 Gordon Street, Glasgow, G1 3SF (6pm onwards)
Miles said: “We will be hosting a LinkedIn training seminar on 7th July and will shortly be adding the event to the calendar on our website and will be sending out invites to Glasgow businesses from Friday 12th June 2105.
“We anticipate that the event will quickly be filled and encourage any firms that would like to attend, to Glasgow event 7th July 2015 to secure their place as soon as possible.”
