I am delighted to have been asked to speak at the monthly NewbyCore Breakfast Club session on Tuesday 5th June.


NewbyCore are a management consultancy company in Edinburgh. They have recently launched their monthly Breakfast Club and hold these events at Cabaret Voltaire – one of the most interesting venues I have ever been asked to speak at, in the heart of Edinburgh.

For those of you not familiar with the venue – Cabaret Voltaire is a basement vault, which is a most unusual but exciting spot hidden underneath the city centre.

At the breakfast meetings, guests will be treated to coffee and hot food as well as two guest speakers and excellent networking opportunities – there may be spaces still available and you can reserve a place here.

The early bird….

I really enjoy attending breakfast meetings as I find attendees to be energised and engaged – it’s great to  contribute to a session that makes for an interesting and inspirational start to somebody’s working day.

Business people often have very full diaries but can usually find space to catch up over a cup of coffee early in the morning which makes it an easily accessible time for everybody to gather, network and learn.

LinkedIn Training and coffee – the perfect combination

At the breakfast meeting I will be delivering LinkedIn training to the attendees and sharing with them how they can use LinkedIn to retain their existing clients and find new ones, make their business more visible to new prospects and increase their number of client referrals.

LinkedIn is a powerful business development tool if used in the right way and a little guidance can enable business owners to take full advantage of the opportunities available.
