I’m very proud to announce that LinkedIn Success Systems has been independently assessed to the highest standard and awarded full CPD accreditation for all our training by the CPD Standards Office.
We are now the only LinkedIn training provider in the UK to boast such full accreditation. Achieving this accreditation has given the business a real boost – we’re very excited about the numerous benefits that this will offer both to us and our clients.
What’s CPD?
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation means that we can ensure the continuous structured development of our business, offering LinkedIn training to entrepreneurs and businesses alike.
The CPD standards enable us to do this in an evidence-based way using benchmarks. We now also have access to the CPD standards community which offers great opportunities for networking and best practice sharing with other professionals.
Who needs CPD?
Across the UK workforce, CPD is expected of most individual professionals in most sectors. It is generally governed by sector-specific professional bodies or regulators. Employers also increasingly expect their staff to undertake CPD and may even measure them on it.
Anyone who is a member of a professional body is likely to have CPD requirements. There are currently over 1,400 professional bodies, institutes and membership associations nationally in the UK. They represent all industries and professions, and all have CPD policies known as CPD schemes.
Anyone who works within a sector that is formally regulated (e.g. by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or Financial Conduct Authority), is likely to be required to track and progress their CPD in order to maintain their license to practice or professional qualifications. Regulatory bodies are established to ensure that the public receives services of the required standard, so CPD is taken very seriously.
