Miles Duncan, CEO of LinkedIn Success Systems, was invited to speak at the Promise Networking Group on 19th January 2017. At this Edinburgh LinkedIn training event, Miles outlined LinkedIn’s new user interface changes, what it means for your profile and what you need to do to make sure that it stands out from your competitors.
The new year sees some radical new changes to LinkedIn’s user interface and Miles talked about the key changes to the gathering of Edinburgh-based SMEs. Specifically, the group were interested in learning about how these changes will affect them and what the benefits of a premium account are in terms of enhancing their LinkedIn experience.
Miles also covered LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator, which helps you leverage your network of contacts to quickly find sales prospects far more efficiently than other methods and illustrates why LinkedIn is the number one business development tool. Miles also reiterated the necessity to have a solid LinkedIn profile that really highlights you as a professional – not a glorified CV – so that you can maximise the benefits of the Sales Navigator.
The success of the event was illustrated nicely by many of the attending businesses signing up for complimentary events taking place in March, in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
